Job Title: Store person
Reporting to: Stores Manager
Location: European Skybus Engine Centre, European House, Bournemouth Airport, Dorset, BH23 6EA
Salary: £25,000 to £28,000
Hours: 40 per week
Job Purpose
The Stores Department is responsible for management of aircraft parts.
The Stores person is responsible for stock management, tool control and purchases.
Key Responsibilities
The following is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities, and the role will include any other tasks as defined by management and the requirements of the day-to-day and on-going business.
• Inspection of goods received prior book in
• Book in/out goods
• Managing stock using company software (full training will be provided)
• Issuing parts to engineers
• Control of tooling
• Stock replenishment – communicate with purchase department
• Purchase consumable
Other Duties
As directed by the Stores Manager and as the business requires.
Deputise as directed for the department supervisor during absence.
Competencies / personal characteristics
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and on own initiative.
Good communication skills with positive and effective interaction since this role involves liaising closely with the engineering teams.
Detail-orientated with excellent organisational, timeliness. transposing and accuracy skills.
Flexible and adaptable with the ability to plan, multitask and prioritise work load effectively.
Must hold a driving licence with CAT B.
Computer literate with proficient knowledge of Microsoft 365, Word, Excel and Outlook
